Universal poinformował, że na 25 września planuje premierę 15-płytowego boxu z arcydziełami Alfreda Hitchcocka.

W zestawie znajdzie się 14 filmów zrealizowanych przez Hitchcocka dla studia Universal i 1 dla Warner Bros. Aż 13 z nich (z pominięciem "Psychozy" i "Północy, północnego zachodu") ukaże się na blu-ray po raz pierwszy. Nie są znane jeszcze specyfikacje techniczne poszczególnych dysków, ale Universal poinformował, jakie dodatki znajdą się na każdej z płyt. Wygląda na to, że tylko "Ptaki" doczekają się nowych materiałów - całą resztę można było znaleźć na płytach z dotychczasowych edycji. Nowe wydanie będzie jednak zawierało kolekcjonerski mini-album z esejami, zdjęciami, storyboardami i różnymi pamiątkami.
Na razie nie wiadomo, czy box zostanie wydany także u nas.
