5th New York Polish Film Festival

The New York Polish Film Festival, NYPFF, celebrates its 5th Annual! The Festival will be held May 5-10, 2009 at the Anthology Film Archives and at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City.Polish Filmmakers Association is one of the co-organizers of the Festival.

NYPFF will showcase Poland's most riveting cinematic feats. It is the largest festival on the East Coast of the United States promoting and presenting Polish films.

To date we have shown over one hundred Polish feature films, shorts, and documentaries, which were widely viewed by both the Polish and American public in New York City.

Thanks to NYPFF a few thousand persons watched Polish cinema in New York! As in previous years, in May 2009 we will show an array of the best Polish feature films, shorts, and documentaries. This year we will also incorporate a new special segment to our program with "Neighboring Cinema" (including Czech, Romanian and Hungarian films).
