Munk Studio

Since 2008, the Andrzej Munk Studio "The Young and Film" operates within Polish Filmmakers Association. It is an exclusive producer of debut films, created with the co-operation of the Polish Film Institute, the Ministry of Culture and the public Television. The Studio produces 3 to 5 debuts features per year. Films produced within the framework of programs for young filmmakers, such as "30 minutes", "First Documentary", or "Young Animation" are also realized in the Munk Studio. For the past few years, these programs have been a great opportunity for the most talented young filmmakers, and have considerably enriched the yearly offer of Polish cinema. Films produced within these programs have been screened at festivals in Clermont-Ferrand, Berlin, and each year in Cannes. A popular schooling program for screenwriters, the Screenplay Laboratory, thanks to which young screenwriters improve their skills under the supervision of great filmmakers, also operates within the Studio.
