Membership

To be a member of the Polish Filmmakers Association, you must have a connection with cinematography. This means working in professions providing artistic input such as film directors; cinematographers in feature films and TV series; screenwriters, dialogue writers and writers of other film literary compositions; sound operators and sound directors; sound and image editors; animators; costume designers; architects, interior decorators and set designers; producers and production managers; literary critics; and stuntmen and other professionals from the film and audiovisual arts sector.

PFA’s members have the right to vote for and be elected to the Association’s supervisory bodies; the right to take part in meetings and general assemblies with a full and decisive voice, and the right to welfare and social care provided by the Association.

It is the duty of each member to protect the good name of PFA and contribute to its development and growing influence. All members are obliged to participate in PFA’s activities, obey its Statutes, regulations, resolutions and directives, and regularly pay its membership fees.

- two recommendations from PFA members
- two photographs
- completed and signed membership questionnaire
- copy of diploma
- for Section for Young Filmmakers only: recommendation from President of PFA Section
