During the 32nd Polish Film Festival, another edition of “Gdynia for Kids" festival will take place between 17 and 22 of September. Among other attractions in a special showing of an audiodescriptive version of “Konik Świętego Mikołaja".
Very unusual guests visited the conference room at the Polish Embassy in Pretoria on a hot but a little cloudy Saturday afternoon - well known and loved characters from children’s cartoons: Pinio, Elephant Dominik, Colargol the Bear and Dragon Barnaba.
March 24-28 2007 South Africa The summit committed to discussing issues connected with media for children is coming to an end. The participants are representatives of different nations, cultures and religions for over 90 countries from all over the world. Children and youth who participated in the 5th summit were involved in various media projects (film, radio, TV, the Internet).
The Forum on Financing and Co-producing Films for Young Audience organized by Swedish Film Institute, Swedish Public Television and the Media Program has ended in Malmo.
On January 27 in Rytwiany (Świętokrzyskie district) the final of Traveling Country Cinema action was celebrated. The project was under our patronage. Young enthusiasts proved that with a little money, good will and wit it is possible to organize cultural film events and that lack of a cinema is not an impediment.
On January 26 2007 we organized a show of animated films for children from the J. Falkowski Deaf and Mute Institute in Warsaw. The project was organized as part of the Polish Cinema for Young Audience program co-financed by the Department of Culture.
