The projection hall in FZH Döhren was full with our happy young audience, who welcomed our guests: musicians' trio - with great interest. Ania Furmanowicz - violin, Witold Furmanowicz - bassoon and Jędrzej Tymczuk - keyboard played some musical motifs from Polish animated films and children were to guess from which film the music was. Sometimes they recognized the story just after few bars; sometimes we waited till the refrain, once parents' help was needed.
After this little concert we inaugurated the exposition of artistic works made by children, who participated in previous Super Cinema meetings. On that occasion the Polish Consul General in Hamburg - Mr. Andrzej Osiak - send his greetings for our children.
This time we had 3 animated stories in our film program: "Bazyliszek“, "Złota Kaczka“ ("The Golden Duck“) and "Dwanaście miesięcy“ ("Twelve months“). Many of our children already knew these stories from their lessons of Polish Language, judging by their comments and paintings made after screenings, children loved the tale about the golden duck most. After watching the film all of our guests could dance and learn new dancing steps.
Next Super Cinema meeting will be organized on 8th November, and the children will watch such films as: "Żywa woda", "O królewnie zaklętej w żabę" and "Szewczyk Dratewka" from the series "Baśnie i bajki polskie" (Polish tales and stories), made available for us by TV Studio Filmów Animowanych in Poznań.
The Super Cinema screenings in Hannover- capital city of Lower Sachsen - idea of Mrs. Grażyna Kamień-Söffker from Polish Radio Magazine Polenflug take place within the framework of the programme "Polish Cinema For Young Audiences Abroad", carried out by the Association of Polish Filmmakers with the financial support of the Polish Film Institute.
