Super Cinema is back!

22.09  '08

After summer break Super Cinema programme is back in Hannover. On Saturday, 20th September, in the screening hall of the FZH Döhren the old and new fans of Polish cinema for children met again. Some German children visited us as well, because this time the screening was organized within KulturLustWandeln Programme. This Autumn our young audiences will watch filmed Polish fairy tales. We began with a tale about the Wawel’s Dragon.

Some children have already been to Krakow and they told us about the dragon’s hole under the castle. After watching a story about Bartek, the Doctor, everybody took part in the discussion, if there was a happy ending of the story. After our traditional break for juice and cookies there was a time for meeting bad castellan, a good smith and a cunning devil. This story seemed to impress parents the most, they tried to find references to other fairy tales. At the end of our meeting the children were drawing pictures to the films they watched. The most popular motif was the dragon.

The Super Cinema screenings in Hannover are organized and lead by Mrs. Grażyna Kamień-Söffker and Agnieszka Foit from Polish Radio Magazine Polenflug and take place within the framework of the programme “Polish Cinema For Young Audiences Abroad", carried out by the Association of Polish Filmmakers with the financial support of the Polish Film Institute. Under the honorary patronage of the Polish General Consul in Hannover.
